SEVEN-DAY WEATHER FORECAST

Forecast for 21st to 25th January 2025

• Sunny and dry weather conditions are expected to dominate across most parts of the country. However, occasional rainfall is likely in some areas, including the Highlands West and East of the Rift Valley, Nairobi, the Lake Victoria Basin, the South Rift Valley, and the South-eastern lowlands, particularly towards the end of the forecast period.
• Average daytime (maximum) temperatures exceeding 30°C are expected over the Coast, North-eastern, North-western regions, and parts of the Highlands West of the Rift Valley, as well as the South-eastern lowlands.
• Average night-time (minimum) temperatures will be less than 10°C in some parts of the Central Highlands, Central Rift Valley and South eastern lowlands

Weather Review for 13th to 19th January 2025

• Most parts of the country experienced predominantly sunny and dry conditions. However, rainfall was recorded in some areas of the Highlands West of the Rift Valley, the Lake Victoria Basin, and the South Rift Valley.
• Daytime (maximum) temperatures increased at most stations, except in Eldoret, Kabete, Nyahururu, Dagoretti, Kitui, and Makindu stations, where temperatures decreased.
•  Night-time (minimum) temperatures decreased in Garissa, Mandera, Thika, Narok, Laikipia, Ngong, and Voi, among others, while they increased in Kericho, Lamu, Mombasa, Suna, and Moyale, among others.
