Moderate to heavy rainfall exceeding 20 mm within 24 hours is expected from 24th to 28th October 2026, with peak intensity between 26th and 28th October, with rainfall intensity projected to decrease by 30th October 2026.

Residents in all the mentioned areas should remain vigilant for potential flash floods and poor visibility. Note that flood waters may occur in areas where it has not rained heavily, particularly downstream. To ensure safety residents are advised to avoid shelter under trees or near grilled windows to minimize exposure to lightning strikes, Avoid crossing flooded roads and swollen rivers, stay away from drainage channels, exercise caution when travelling, and follow official weather updates. Move to safer ground if flooding occurs.
