Large waves expected along the Coast of Kenya

The wave height is likely to be more than 2.5 meters over the Kenya coastal waters on Wednesday 12th to Thursday 13th July and is expected to reduce to 2.2 meters on Friday 14th July, 2023.

Very high waves may lower visibility, cause capsizing of boats and threaten the safety of those engaging in the water sports and recreational activities. Those in the areas of concern should be on high alert. People are urged to continue listening to local media as updates will be provided if conditions change significantly.
