Event description

Strong southerly winds of more than 25 knots (12.9 m/s) being experienced over the North-eastern, North-western, South-eastern lowlands and Coastal regions of Kenya on Friday, 13 June 2025 are expected to strengthen to more than 30 knots (15.4 m/s) from Saturday, 14 June 2025 to Tuesday, 17 June 2025. Wind speeds are likely to reduce to 25 knots (12.9 m/s) on Wednesday 18 June, 2025.
